Opolopo w/ Amalia

Swedish-Canadian soul singer Amalia has released her debut album Art Slave on Tokyo Dawn Records. The 15 tracks pay tribute to some of her favorite female singers, such as Chaka Khan and Sheila E. The sound combines elements from 80s electro funk and boogie with nu jazz and soul - produced by Swedish beat master Opolopo.

The album is a statement of "the need for funk in all stages of life," and appearantly Amalia has got all the funk she needs...
