Six years today since a truly great soul singer passed away. Luther Vandross (April 20, 1951 – July 1, 2005) released his most memorable songs in the 80s. The big break came with the Italian-American disco outfit Change. Luther did lead vocals on several songs, including the all time fave Glow of Love. Here's the Leroc Sportif edit.
This gem features Luther at his finest. In his own words: "This is the most beautiful song I've ever sung in my life." After working with Change for the debut album Glow of Love, Luther recorded the solo album Never Too Much in 1981. The title track is another gem. Here's the Scratchandsniff re-rub.
